We had a hell of a last week in WWE.
- Stephanie McMahon is going into the WWE Hall of Fame. She was announced as the first member of the 2026 class, and I couldn’t be happier. Stephanie McMahon is my forever crush and I always want good things for her.
Let’s get to this week’s moment’s before I talk about Wrestlepalooza at the end in place of the honorable mentions
One Match
Sami Zayn and Carmelo Hayes had a great match as a part of Sami’s open challenges for the U.S. title.
Melo deserves to have a legitimate shot at the U.S. title, and this was a good start. He puts on a legitimately good show in the ring, and he and Sami were making magic together. I’m surprised it was a clean match and The Miz didn’t run in from the commentary table, but I’m glad it stayed fair.
One Moment
Grayson Waller hosted an episode of the Grayson Waller Effect.
Grayson can wrestle, he can talk and he looks damn good. Push him to the moon. The NXT crowd did not appreciate him the way they should have. The promos themselves in the segment weren’t my favorite of the week, I was just happy that Big G got his moment on Homecoming.
One Promo
I almost left my promo blank for the week because nothing super grabbed me. But Tiffany Stratton can do no wrong in my book. She is perfect and I could listen to her talk all day long.
Wrestlepalooza
- Stephanie Vaquer and Iyo Sky were incredible. I am so glad Stephanie has the title now, and I love that she finally got a proper, full match with Iyo. The respect they have for each other, and the smiles they shared in their big moments were so sweet to watch.
- Jey Uso bled so much, so suddenly. I wonder how the match was originally going to end.
- The mixed tag match was so much better than I expected. I didn’t watch AJ’s first run, so I didn’t go into the match with a lot of care. But the match they had hit every want I could have had.
- Brock Lesnar vs. John Cena…went exactly how I thought it would, and that’s all I’m going to say.
- Cody Rhodes retained and he deserves to get the first main event win in the ESPN era.
